Bias – How level is your playing field for talent?
I recently completed 2 assignments for a client who embraced a fully inclusive recruitment campaign, removing traditional bias from the recruitment process.
We delivered a diverse shortlist of applicants who were selected based on skills & experience.
Ignoring / removing address, nationality, qualifications, schools, age, gender, marital status etc and focusing on skills & experience in relevance to the job brief provided. The process was transparent, open and feedback was provided at each stage of the process.
It was a refreshing, fair and challenging process and one which I encourage all my clients to embrace.
