Recruiters move into B2B Events

Recruiters consider a move into the B2B Events industry?

 

One of my fabulous Events clients has asked me to find a superstar Recruiter to join their events sales team. Recruiters have many transferable skills for the sponsorship sales role: relationship building, client management, consultative sales, target orientated, new business, solutions orientated, etc. 

The events industry offer the opportunity to work with high profile blue chip companies, senior decision makers, travel (when safe!), meet people face to face (when safe!) and work in a highly innovative and creative sector. The buzz of attending an in-person event is unreal!

 

So what’s the job…….

Business Development Manager – Sponsorship Sales

London office based 2 days, 3 days home + Travel when required

Base salary up to £35K + Uncapped Generous Commission

They are looking for a Recruiter with circa 12-18 months of experience who would like to use their consultative sales skills to sell high-value sponsorship packages for a world-class large scale conference & exhibition.

You will be working with high profile clients and innovative start-ups, developing warm leads and generating your own new business.

The events industry has been incredibly innovative and resilient over the past 18 months and now with in-person events back up and running, it’s a great time to join the events industry!
